About St Peters Lutheran College

Founded in 1945, St Peters Lutheran College is one of Queensland’s leading private schools, offering excellence in Christian co-education from Prep to Year 12. Guided by the motto Plus Ultra (Ever Higher), the College encourages students to strive beyond the ordinary in academics, personal growth, and service to others.

At St Peters, students are inspired to discover their gifts, develop strong character, and lead lives of purpose. Academic excellence is central to the College, with multiple pathways, including the International Baccalaureate Diploma, Queensland Certificate of Education, and vocational options.

Boarding, offered from Year 6, is integral to the St Peters experience, offering a welcoming home away from home supported by strong pastoral care. Beyond the classroom, students benefit from extensive cocurricular opportunities, including world class music and sport, as well as the iconic Ironbark outdoor education program.

What is Whistleblowing?

Our College is committed to strong ethical standards and sound corporate governance. Whistleblowing is not about raising a personal grievance; it involves reporting a real or perceived wrongdoing.

Our policy allows individuals to report concerns about unethical, unlawful, or undesirable conduct, including through anonymous disclosures.

Please read the Whistleblower Policy carefully. It is strongly recommended that you also review all other relevant policies to understand how your concern(s) relate to the Whistleblower Policy.

Types of Whistleblowing?

There are two types of whistleblowing:

  1. Disclosures made under the relevant law; and
  2. Disclosures made under the extended protections of our Whistleblower Policy.

Regardless of the type, all disclosures covered by our policy are protected under that policy.

Anonymity and Confidentiality – Protection for Whistleblowers

The service provider has implemented multiple safeguards to protect your anonymity. These measures are designed for your protection.

You may choose to disclose your identity; however, this will only occur with your express consent. If you choose to remain anonymous, you will receive disclosure-specific login details. You must retain these details in order to provide further information about your disclosure or to receive updates.

You remain in control of the process. All communication will take place through the online service. While this approach may take slightly longer to exchange information, it has been chosen to provide higher confidence that disclosures remain anonymous.
