Scope – Person the Subject of Investigation

When a person is being investigated under a human resource management policy, there are usually certain expectations of procedural fairness, right to provide their own material and the right to support.

The information and investigation should be an objective assessment.  Until the assessment has been completed the relevant people should be supported by the organisation.

The right to support may also include, the right to:

  • External employee support service
  • Internal Staff Protection Officer
