Scope – Investigation Part 1

The investigation is an important role for all parties:

  • Board and Senior Management to ensure the disclosure Policy and Procedure is followed.  This includes across all elements from disclosure to investigation to implementation of required changes
  • Owner of the Procedure for due process, usually human resources 
  • The discloser for protection of anonymity and/or confidentiality
  • The person being investigated, consistent with the organisation’s human resource management practices 
  • Accurate Reporting to the Board and Senior Management
  • Implementing the recommended changes, if allocated to the investigator
